Note: From 9 to 15 March the lessons will take place according to the "distance learning" method. We will use the Google Meet platform, for which you must have activated your University email address. All students received a communication from the Student Secretariat with instructions on how to activate the University mail and to participate in the lessons on Meet: refer to this communication for technical details. Lessons will be held at the same times as those scheduled in the classroom: Monday from 9 to 11 and Thursday from 9 to 11. She holds a degree with honors in Economics and Commerce from the University of Palermo, as well as a master in Administration, Finance and Control from the Luiss Management.
Her professional career began at the Enel Group in 2003, where she specialised in internal audit activities, covering a wide range of roles and managing the adoption of the Organizational Model ex Italian Legislative Decree 231/01. From February 2011 to July 2013 she was Compliance Officer pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/01 in some companies of the Enel Group.
Since 2014 she has been Head of "Sustainability Planning and Performance Management" of the Enel Group, responsible for embedding Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues into business management through the definition and monitoring of the sustainability strategy at Group level; while also coordinating the sustainability planning and reporting processes in all the countries where Enel is present.
She is responsible for promoting accountability and transparency through leading the materiality assessment, the definition of Sustainability Plan, the elaboration of Annual Sustainability Reports, including Non Financial Statement, both at Group and country level.
She manages ESG indexes and sustainability rating at Group level.
She also ensures internal and external disclosure on Human Rights, integrating the Human Rights policy into business processes, performing the relevant due diligence and reporting activities at Group level.
Together with the Finance and Investor Relations functions, she actively participates in the definition of guidelines and the development of innovative processes and products in the field of sustainable finance, such as the launch of the world’s first “General Purpose SDG linked bond”. She is member of the Enel Green Bond Committee.
She was appointed member of the European Lab Project Task Force on Climate-related reporting (EFRAG) in February 2019.
She makes numerous lectures in the most prestigious universities and master and she is professor of Corporate Social Responsibility at the LUMSA, Libera Università degli Studi Maria Ss. Assunta di Rome (Master’s Degree in Marketing & Digital Communication).
