My research and teaching interests lie in US foreign and security policy during and after the Cold War; China’s Foreign and Security Policy during and after the Cold War; Italy’s foreign and security policy in the Greater Middle East during and after the Cold War; the transatlantic relations in the Mediterranean and the Middle East; the European integration process in the Cold War and beyond; the international and security actorness of the European Union; the Mediterranean Policy of the European Community/European Union from the Cold War to the post-bipolar system; the U.S. security policy in Middle East and the Persian Gulf; the integration processes in Europe and Latin America: comparative perspectives; the Arab-Israeli- Palestinian conflict and peace process.
