Curriculum vitae

Luisa Lo Iacono si è laureata con lode in Chimica e tecnologia farmaceutiche nel 2002 all’Università “Sapienza” di Roma. Ha ottenuto il dottorato in Neuroscienze nel 2007 presso il prestigioso istituto di ricerca internazionale European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in convenzione con l’Università Karl Ruprecht di Heidelberg (Germania). Dal 2002 al 2012 ha lavorato presso diversi istituti di ricerca in Italia e all’estero, tra cui la University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), e l’Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) a Genova. Dal 2012 presso la Fondazione Santa Lucia IRCCS conduce ricerche sui meccanismi neurobiologici che mediano le alterazioni del comportamento e della neurofisiologia in risposta allo stress e ai traumi precoci.
