Brief Biographical Notes
Graduated in Paleography and Musical Philology from the University of Pavia.
From 1997 to 2023, he presided over the Renewal in the Holy Spirit (Rinnovamento nello Spirito Santo), a private association of the faithful recognized by the Italian Episcopal Conference and the Holy See, a movement spread throughout Italy and the world.
He is the President of the Mons. Francesco Di Vincenzo Institute for Human Promotion Foundation, a moral and ecclesiastical institution dedicated to the human and social redemption of prisoners, former prisoners, immigrants, and the underprivileged. The Foundation established the Mario and Luigi Sturzo Center of Excellence for Solidarity and Human Promotion in Caltagirone, located on the historic rural estate of the renowned Sicilian family.
He is the President of AnimAzione ETS, a network of Catholic universities, foundations, and schools aimed at forming a new generation of leaders.
He serves as a consultant at the European University of Rome for international cooperation project coordination and socio-cultural training.
He is a professor of Theology of the Holy Spirit, Charisms, and Christian Experience at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome.
He is a professor of Theology: Social Ethics at LUMSA University in Rome.
He is a board member of the Our Lady of Good Counsel Foundation (FZKM) in Tirana, Albania, serving the UNIZKM Catholic University and the affiliated hospital.
By papal appointment, he has served as President of the Vatican Foundation "International Family Center of Nazareth", Consultant to the Pontifical Council for the Laity, Pontifical Council for the Family, and Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization until their reorganization.
He was the President of the Observatory on Religious Minorities Worldwide and Religious Freedom at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He was the Special Representative of the Italian OSCE Presidency for combating racism, xenophobia, and discrimination, with a focus on intolerance and discrimination against Christians and members of other religions.
He was the President of the RNS Alliance Foundation, operating in Italy and Moldova for the reintegration of disadvantaged individuals.
He was a founding member of the Science & Life Association, a Catholic network of entities, institutions, and individuals collaborating on issues related to life and bioethics.
He served two terms as a member of the Executive Committee of Rete in Opera, a network of major Catholic associations working together to promote the Social Doctrine of the Church.
He was the President of the Sturzo House Museum Foundation at the Sturzo birthplace, hosting a private museum of regional interest dedicated to the brothers Mario and Luigi.
Since 1997, he has lectured and taught in 56 countries worldwide.
He has authored 36 books and booklets published in Italy and translated into various languages, along with numerous publications and miscellanies.
Since 1986, he has composed sacred music, including works published in foreign productions.
