LUMSA Foundation Year

The Foundation Course

To apply in an Italian University students need at least 12 years of previous schooling. LUMSA foundation year is a programme for international students who need to complete their basic education and do not have them.

The programme is held in Italian language and issues 60 university credits.

Candidates may apply for the Foundation Course even if they already have the 12 years of schooling necessary to enrol, but intend to improve their educational basis.

Students who successfully complete the course programme will be able to apply to Bachelors or Single-cycle degree programmes at LUMSA University.

For the first semester 2020-2021 the lessons will be in blended mode.

 

Eligible Candidates

Candidates who meet the requirements indicated below are eligible to apply for the programme:

  • holding a secondary school diploma obtained abroad after at least 11 years of schooling;
  • having passed the Italian language test organized by LUMSA.
