Curriculum vitae

Andrea Fontana è psicologo clinico, psicoterapeuta ad orientamento psicodinamico e Ph.D. in Psicologia Clinica, Dinamica e dello Sviluppo. Attualmente ricercatore (RTD-A) presso l'Università LUMSA, ha svolto docenze in varie istituzioni accademiche e sanitarie, tra cui l'Istituto Italiano di Psicoterapia Psicoanalitica di Palermo, la Sapienza Università di Roma, la Scuola di Specializzazione in Psicoterapia "Lo Spazio Psicoanalitico" di Roma, la Scuola di Psicoterapia IPUE, la Scuola SPAD per adolescenti e giovani adulti, e la Scuola di Psicoterapia Forma Mentis del Consorzio Humanitas. Collabora, inoltre, in ambito di ricerca e formazione con la ASL Roma 1.

Le sue principali aree di insegnamento comprendono la psicoterapia psicodinamica integrata con contributi recenti della teoria dell'attaccamento e della teoria polivagale, la psicodiagnostica, il ragionamento clinico e le tecniche di conduzione del colloquio psicologico.

I suoi interessi di ricerca si concentrano sulla salute mentale perinatale sia materna che paterna, sullo sviluppo della personalità durante l'adolescenza, sui disturbi di personalità e sulle dipendenze comportamentali. Ha partecipato allo sviluppo e alla validazione di strumenti diagnostici per l'assessment dei disturbi di personalità negli adolescenti e ha condotto studi sui fattori che influenzano il benessere psicologico dei giovani adulti.

Ha pubblicato numerosi articoli su riviste scientifiche internazionali e nazionali, partecipando regolarmente a convegni in Italia e all'estero.
