Marco Torri is a Senior Researcher (CNR, 2nd level) at the Institute for Studies on the Mediterranean (ISMed, Palermo unit), where he works within the strategic area of Sustainability, Natural Resources and Ecosystems. His research focuses on the sustainability of marine fisheries resources, climate change, and the ecology of fish early life stages, with extensive experience in applying statistical methods to ecological and economic sciences and in assessing anthropogenic impacts on marine ecosystems.
He joined CNR as a permanent researcher in 2022 (3rd level) and was promoted to Senior Researcher in 2023.
Scientific output: Author of 29 ISI papers, with an H-index of 13 (ISI WOS), 12 (Scopus), and 14 (Google Scholar). His work has received over 350 citations (ISI WOS: 352; Scopus: 364; Google Scholar: 445).
