This degree provides students with a critical understanding of fundamental legal disciplines, as well as ethical and social training. It follows a systematic and vocational curriculum to train legal experts on the most topical issues and those of greatest interest in the field of law, from a European and international perspective. In addition to the traditional course, an International Programme has been offered for the last seven years. This programme is the only one of its kind in Rome. Intended for a maximum of 30 students, it teaches certain subjects - economics, philosophy, and history, as well as comparative, international and EU law - in English using interactive teaching methods. Certain modules are taught by visiting professors from selected overseas universities, both European and further afield.
